Overview
A concept website for Visuals by Jered, a Cape Town videographer who films weddings, events and lifestyle work and makes motion graphics. It is a single page: an introduction, four services, recent films, a pull quote and an enquiry form.
Challenge
Couples choose a wedding videographer on feeling as much as on price. The page needed to feel calm and cinematic, and still move someone from the first screen to an enquiry without a detour.
Solution
Warm ivory, a serif display face and thin gold corner marks frame the page like a film still, down to a running timecode in the corner. Services sit under the introduction and recent films follow. The enquiry form asks only for a name, a date, the type of event and a few words about the day.
Process
- 01
Tone
Picked a quiet palette and a serif and sans-serif pairing suited to wedding film.
- 02
Structure
Kept everything on one page, ordered from introduction to enquiry.
- 03
Placeholders
Left the film tiles as marked placeholders for Jered's own footage, and tagged About and Testimonials as coming soon.
- 04
Build
Wrote one HTML file with scroll reveals and a form that explains it is not connected yet.

The live build
One HTML file that runs in the browser with nothing to install. Its typefaces load from the web, so it needs a connection to look as designed.
