A word from the Head

We know your child by name — and we intend to keep it that way.

Choosing a school is really a decision about who your child spends their days becoming. At Star of Hope we hold two things together without apology: warm, faith‑rooted care, and genuinely high academic expectations.

Our classes are small on purpose. Every learner has a teacher who notices when the reading clicks, and a mentor who notices when it doesn’t. From Grade R to the matric hall, the promise is the same — your child will be taught well, held to a standard, and reminded often that their future is possible.

Come and walk the campus. Bring your questions. We’d love to meet the family.

What we believe

Every child is a light.

“…let your light shine.” — Matthew 5:16. It isn’t a slogan on a wall for us. It’s the job description.

Faith

A spiritual life that is real, gentle and never coercive — a place to ask big questions.

Character

Honesty, grit and kindness — named, modelled and expected, not left to luck.

Excellence

High expectations with real support underneath them. We don’t confuse the two.

Belonging

Ubuntu. We belong to one another; no learner carries a hard day alone.

Hope

Every child leaves us believing, with evidence, that their future is possible.

The journey from Grade R to the matric hall.

Thirteen years, four phases, one throughline: the child in front of us, taught at the pace they actually need.

R–3 Foundation Phase · Grade RR–3

Learning to read — and learning to love it.

Play‑rich classrooms, structured phonics and number sense, big‑motor confidence, and one teacher who knows exactly where each child is.

4–6 Intermediate Phase · Grade 4–6

From learning to read, to reading to learn.

Subject specialists step in, the first real research projects begin, the library habit is built, and devices enter the classroom with guidance.

7–9 Senior Phase · Grade 7–9

Finding the edges of what they’re good at.

The full subject spread, laboratory science, coding, first leadership roles, and one‑to‑one subject‑choice guidance in Grade 9.

10–12 FET Phase · Grade 10–12

The matric years, taken seriously.

Streamed subjects, weekly academic mentoring, Saturday classes in Grade 12, and university, bursary and learnership applications handled with each learner — not left to them.

Placeholder details — your real contact information replaces these.

Designed by Studio Helper

This is a concept. Here’s what the finished project looks like.

Every page you just read was built from a blank canvas — no crest, no brand colours, no photography supplied. The full engagement replaces each placeholder with your school’s identity, your results, and your campus.

A complete visual identity

Crest refinement, colour system, typography and layout rules — documented for your team.

This prospectus, finished

Print‑ready, plus a shareable digital brochure exactly like the one you’re reading.

A reusable template set

Digital flyers, WhatsApp‑ready posters, event and admissions templates your staff can edit themselves.

Photography & short reels

A proper campus shoot, edited for social feeds and for the website.

A modern website

Fast, mobile‑first, with an online admissions enquiry portal that lands leads in your inbox.

Ethical institutional content

Prospectus copy, newsletters and announcement writing — branding and official media only.

“Parents deciding between you and the school down the road decide on what they can see first.”

The next step is small. Send us your logo, school colours, grades, admissions details and a handful of campus photos — we’ll turn this concept into the real thing. One brief, a concept, two revision rounds, then final files and a handover session for your team. We’ll send an exact quote once we’ve scoped it with you — school‑friendly, and phased if you need.
